Oh boy!!!
This adorable little man belongs to my good friend, Nicole. I have known Nicole and her family since I was little and I love that we are all still close. I was super excited when Nicole told me she was pregnant, we had both been trying to start a family and going through the emotional roller coaster that it can sometimes be. Well, I am just thrilled that we got to do this together and that she did it first...now I can ask her all of my crazy questions!
This little guy was in absolutely no hurry to make his grand entrance, he was 12 days past his due date and when he arrived, he was a whopping 10 pounds 1.5 ounces! Needless to say I'm praying for a 7-8 pounder :) Here are just a few of my favorites, he was the perfect little model...and if I wasn't already pregnant, I think I'd have baby fever right about now!

Summer Schedule
I have been so super busy lately that I've hardly had time to think about my summer schedule or planning my maternity leave. But, I made some time today to sit down and look at the calendar and here's the deal:
I have very few weekend dates left for this summer. If you are interested in setting up your session for a weekend in July, there are only two dates left, so call me ASAP! Also, I will be taking very few sessions in early August and already have several dates taken...for the last couple of weeks in August you may find me and my enormous belly floating in the pool!
I will be taking the entire month of September and most of October to spend time with my baby and husband...and having my newborn's portraits taken! And, I already have the last three weekends in October booked. If you would like to schedule a session before November, call me ASAP!
And, speaking of November, if you would like to schedule a session for November, you should probably give me a call now!
I think that's it for my scheduled talk, please let me know if you have any questions!
I met my sister-in-law at the park this morning for a little mini session of Mia and Vinney playing on the playground. They are too stinking cute and both at the age where they are very independent!
Typical Mia, so hilarious!
And Vinney giving me a serious face as he comes down the slide.
I was able to sneak a few in the grass before we had an all out meltdown...I love these!

Stanco Family
This baby girl is just precious! I love her squishy little cheeks and big grin, makes me melt! I love photographing this adorable family and can't believe their baby is already 9 months! Jessie and Hunter, you guys are so sweet and I have really enjoyed getting to know you both over the past 9 months...can't wait to set up play dates in the future!!!

This may be my favorite from this session, love those little legs!!!
The Durand Family
I really do intend to be a better blogger, but things have been crazy around here and the blog is always my last priority...so sorry! I have been photographing the Durand family for the past year and I have loved seeing little Donovan grow into the sweet and extremely talkative (even if he's the only who knows what he's saying!) one year old he is now. Danny also happens to be my husband's best friend and I've really enjoyed getting to know he and Devon more...thanks for all the baby advice Devon! Here are a few of my faves from our last session..

Here he is blowing me a kiss...love it!
My Big News...
Well, most of you know my big news by now, but for those of you I haven't seen in a while....I'M PREGNANT!!!! After trying for a couple of years, my husband and I have finally been blessed with this amazing miracle of life growing inside me. I have decided that I am going to journal my experience here on my blog, because it's what's going on in my life and I'm sure so many of you can relate :) I'm 24 weeks along and due on September 1st. For those of you wondering about my maternity leave, I haven't set anything in stone, but I will keep you updated!
I have had a really wonderful experience so far, no morning sickness (don't hate me) and all around feeling pretty good. The worst part for me is not sleeping at night. I'm a pretty big fan of sleeping eight hours every night (sometimes more), but now I wake up at 3:00 am almost every night...it's 4:00 am as we speak! And, I've begun obsessively cleaning. I spent about 5 hours yesterday scrubbing down my kitchen and bathroom. I never knew how much I needed to dust my pantry and don't even get me started on the kitchen floors, they will never be clean enough! I'm not as bad as my husband though. He started his nesting phase the day we found out I was pregnant. He has had me organizing my office, cleaning out my closets and forcing me to get rid of the junk I apparently had no idea I had. All in all, we have officially gone crazy and are loving every minute of it!
For all you moms who have advice for me, I would love hear it, just leave me a comment. Especially any advice on what the heck to register for, that is one overwhelming project!
And, for those of you wondering, we are not finding out what we are having, so you will just have to wait until September! I don't like to post without images, so here is one of a cute little wooden dog I found for the baby...
