This Life

Well, to say my life has gone a little crazy would be an understatement. I have always heard moms say how busy life is with little ones, but I never knew quite what they meant until now. Every minute of my day is taken up by my little guy and when he does nap, it's only 30 minutes at a time. Luckily my mom is the best babysitter in the world or I would never get any work done! But I have to say, that I love when he wakes up, because it's time to play again or just sit and snuggle. Even though I have no time to myself anymore, I love every minute I'm with my son. Mommyhood is amazing and I've never been more happy!

This sweet family was a joy to photograph. I love babies this age, they are happy and sitting up, but not crawling. They make the perfect little models. And I love how they eat their little toes!

Jennifer and Brandon

Jennifer and Brandon were married at Los Patios on October 24th. The weather was amazing that day, which is why I love fall weddings! I had the best time photographing my first wedding since having Dylan and I couldn't have asked for a better couple. Jennifer and Brandon, you guys are awesome! I've loved getting to know you this past year. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day!

This is one of my favorite baby girls I've had the pleasure of photographing this past year. I know I say it all the time, but I truly love my job and love getting to know my amazing clients. This sweet family has totally embraced me and I'm happy to say we've become friends over our sessions together. Jessie has given me so much advice and encouragement throughout my pregnancy. I loved hearing her story on how Ruby came into this world and have enjoyed seeing her incredible ways as a mother. And of course, Hunter is one amazing dad. Thanks you guys for allowing me to be a part of your first year as Ruby's parents, can't wait to see you again for another!

Kristin and Pete

I photographed Kristin and Pete's beautiful wedding last year and had the absolute best time getting to know them. They are the sweetest and most laid back couple and they really go out of their way to make you feel welcome in their lives. I was so excited when Kristin called to book her maternity session...I just love continuing my relationships with people I photograph. And, I know they will be incredible parents. I photographed this session last Saturday and Monday Kristin emailed to say she was in the early stages of labor and to go ahead and schedule her newborn session - I also love that she is so on top of everything!!! I can't wait to meet their baby girl next week, I'll post images soon.

I am officially back to work this week with my first portrait session since having Dylan. I can't wait to get back into the swing of things and start seeing my fabulous clients once again! If you are thinking about scheduling a session before the holidays, now is the time to call. I am offering custom designed holiday cards again this year, I will share a few we made last year at some point this week.

Fabulous Camera Bags!

My friend and fellow photographer, Maile, just launched her brand new line of camera bags! They look amazing, I can't wait to start carrying mine...I think it will make a nice camera/diaper bag! I'm so excited for Maile, I knew she was a talented photographer and now she has awesome designer to add to the list!
